The Village of Killearn, Scotland

Public transport to Killearn is provided by Midland Bluebird and Eastern Scottish, a McGill's Company. There is a service to and from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station and Stirling Bus Station. Some Stirling services ( X10 ) run via Buchlyvie, Kippen and Gargunnock, while the X10A runs via Gartmore, Aberfoyle, Port of Menteith, Thornhill and Blair Drummond. In addition Stirling Council provides a "Demand Responsive Transport"(DRT) service. Details can be found by following this internal link or visiting the Stirling Council Website.

Timetables to and from Killearn are given below. The times shown are taken from McGill's published timetables or "Traveline Scotland" but no responsibility can be taken for any errors or omissions. The latest change in timetable for the X10 and X10A routes came into force on 15 September 2025. Note that the timetables at bus stops may be out-of-date and that there may be changes in service at short notice due to a shortage of drivers. Up to date information is available on the McGill's website. The McGill Scotland East mobile phone app is available for Apple and Android phones from the appropriate app stores. This gives timetables, live updates of the location of your bus, ticket purchases and other functions.

All busses to Glasgow call at Milngavie Railway Station. A new rail timetable was introduced on 7th October 2024 and is due to run until 14th December 2024. There is a frequent service from Milngavie to either Glasgow Central or Queen Street. A limited number of morning and evening trains continue to Edinburgh on Monday to Friday. A link to the train times is given below.

There have been a number of disruptions to the rail service since May 2022 and there is a possibility of further ongoing disruption due to limited overtime working. It is advisable to check that trains are running as advertised, especially at weekends or late at night.
