Public transport to Killearn is provided by First Group and Aberfoyle Motors. There is a regular service to and from Glasgow Buchanan Street Bus Station, Stirling Bus Station and Balloch with limited other connections.
Timetables to and from Killearn are given below. A new First timetable came into force on 16 February 2009. The times shown are taken from the First published timetables or "Traveline Scotland" but no responsibility can be taken for any errors or omissions.
All journeys to and from Stirling require a change of bus at Balfron to the No 12 or No 10 as appropriate. Through tickets may be purchased.
All busses to Glasgow call at Milngavie Railway Station. Trains from Milngavie travel to Glasgow Queen Street or Central Stations at 15 minute intervals throughout the day (30 minute intervals in the evening) with onward connections to the UK mainline rail network.
Departure times are 3 minutes to and 27 minutes past the hour to Queen Street; 12 minutes past and 18 minutes to the hour to Central. There are some additional trains at peak periods.
