The Show is held on the last Saturday of August every year. The 2008 show will take place in the Village and Church halls on Saturday 30th August. Every year we add new classes or competitions to reflect changing interests and lifestyles. For 2008 we added the following.

Mega Marrow Competition
Calling all gardeners young and old. Enter the Society's newest competition to grow the most massive marrow in the area. Start preparing now for the big weigh in on Show day 30th August.
There will be adult and junior sections.
The bigger the marrow the better the prize.
See the Show schedule later or contact us for an entry form.

Other competions for 2008 are as follows.

Adults
How many new trees have the Society/Streetscape planted around the village? (Excluding the Glebe).
The correct - or nearest - answer wins a garden voucher.
Youths
A man from (where) won Best Exhibit in Sweet Peas?
A voucher to the winner.
Junior
What is the BIG new competition for this years Show?
A voucher to the winner.

Our Hidden Garden competition was new last year and we had some really great gardens for our judge. If your lovely garden is hidden from view from the road do let us know so that it can be included in this year's competition. A new trophy for hidden gardens has been presented by last year's winner, Fraser Murray.

More details of the above and other changes are available in the 2008 schedule of classes. The new schedules will be available from May 2008 for £2. This includes society membership and entitles all members of the household free entry into all classes in the Show. The full range of classes is listed in the current year Schedule which can be obtained from the Secretary or click on "Contact Us".
