Annual Show

The Show is usually held on the last Saturday of August each year. The 2011 Show was held in the Village and Church halls on Saturday 20th August, a week earlier than usual. This was because renovations works on the Village Hall had been due to start in September. As the start date for this work has now been put back the exact time and place of the 2012 Show is yet to be finalised. Every year we add new classes or competitions to reflect changing interests and lifestyles. The Committee is still working on the changes for 2012. These will be published when completed.

A new Hidden Garden competition was introduced in 2007 and we have had some really great gardens entered for our judges see. If your lovely garden is hidden from view from the road do let us know so that it can be included in this year's competition. A new trophy for hidden gardens was presented by Fraser Murray the husband of the 2007 winner Leonora Murray .

Details of the competition classes will be available in the 2012 schedule of classes. The new schedules will be available from May 2012 for £2. This includes society membership and entitles all members of the household free entry into all classes in the Show.
