Killearn Cottagers' Horticultural Society

News

The Society in conjunction with Stirling Councils grounds arm - Streetscape - has planted trees in the village as part of the bequest of the late Ms Joan Shand to plant broadleaf trees in the village. Look out for the new trees as you stroll around the village.
A number of the trees have died but are to be replaced by Stirling Council at no cost to the Society.

The 2009 growing season was very mixed but, despite this, the annual show was again a success with over 700 entries on the day.

The Society had a successful trip by coach to Edinburgh Botanic Gardens on Saturday 8th August 2009. 38 members and friends attended.
